Gain valuable insights into the agile methods and innovative technologies of startups and their founders – and by this get valuable impulses for your own work.

The Startup Safari provides the unique opportunity to immerse into the startup ecosystem of Berlin for one day. Learn more about early-stage companies and experience their vibrant work locations. Be inspired by the latest trends and technologies.  

We start the day at a co-working space with an introduction into the startup scene in Berlin. Here, experts of the Hasso Plattner Institute give an overview of the challenges of founding a digital startup. At the co-working space, you will experience first-hand the modern and agile ways startups work, life and create their ideas.   

During the day, we will visit several startups in their offices. Meet up to six companies from a wide range of industries and technology sectors, depending on the size of your group and industry. The entrepreneurs will tell their founding story of their startup and present their business models, as well as the cutting-edge technologies they use. In Q&A sessions they will answer all your questions on the topic. 

In a Startup Safari individually tailored for your company, you will gain important insights into relevant innovative technologies and future fields of digital transformation, which you can subsequently apply in your own company after the workshop. 

Agenda

Overview of the Workshop-Day

  • Introduction to the topic of digital entrepreneurship and the Berlin startup ecosystem by experts of the Hasso Plattner Institute. 
  • Guided tour of a co-working space in Berlin and introduction to the working methods of early-stage startups 
  • Visit up to four startups in their premises with presentations on their founding history and company model 
  • Presentations of several startups followed by a Q&A session at the co-working space 
  • Feedback Round & After-work Beer  

Optional: Dinner in a location in Berlin together with the speakers of the day
