Modern leadership of teams through VUCA worlds (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity), mixed with high innovation and digitalization pressure, has become the new challenge for leaders. Especially in these times, the demand is high for executives who can move into the future and towards innovations in a learning and experimenting manner. What is required is not only diverse mindsets, such as empathy with customer and employee needs or openness to new perspectives, but also a set of operating modes combined with the ability to flexibly change into different roles. Where we come from and where we are going
When we started to bring Design Thinking into organizations, to accompany teams and train coaches more than a decade ago, we mainly addressed the “early adopters.” And the message from innovation experts was the same across industries: Leaders need to be enablers not gatekeepers or hurdles. Only then can human-centered innovation and agile collaboration truly succeed in an e organization. As a result, we developed the “Leadership Program for Innovation and Agility,” and thus we serve both concerns: 1. to foster innovation and agility and 2. to lead.
Our leadership formats are based on agile leadership principles. The above leadership program combines leadership practices that focus on organizational learning, psychological safety and agility against the backdrop of ongoing adaptation and innovation in a constantly changing environment. All of our Leadership Development, Organizational Development and Strategy formats provide targeted support to build and enhance leadership capabilities and create appropriate structures within the organization. hey are aimed at leaders who want to optimize their leadership style for agility and innovativeness and those who want to lead their organization or division to increased adaptability and agility. We also offer appropriate modules for the strategic development of a vision and its translation into Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
A team specialized in leadership coaches and accompanies teams and entire organizations on their transformation process and towards the establishment of new, agile structures. Our formats in the area of leadership are strongly application and practice-oriented. Leadership workshops and leadership programs at the HPI Academy
We offer the majority of our leadership programs in customized formats. This is because the requirements, needs, goals and strategies of our customers are very diverse. We conduct programs in cooperation with first-class business schools such as HEC Paris, ESMT Berlin or with cutting-edge companies specializing in virtual reality and augmented reality for leadership, among others. Likewise, we work with partners from the business community. Top-class experts are part of our events and Masterclasses as guest speakers to share their insights and best practices. he HPI Academy also offers a unique learning environment on the Potsdam campus, plus small groups and intensive support from our coaches. The small groups of high-caliber participants, are mostly composed of senior management and C-level executives. This creates the best opportunities to expand your own network. Of course, we also offer almost all leadership formats virtually and according to your needs.
