The project idea for the First-Aid Training Truck was developed in collaboration with the HPI Academy.
“We are proud that the project of the First–Aid Training Truck found its beginnings in a workshop of the HPI Academy. Learning the innovative and agile design thinking method opened up new perspectives for the Teva-ratiopharm team and laid the foundation for this innovative lighthouse project that can save lives,” said Dr. Timm Krohn, Managing Director of HPI Academy. Just two years after the workshop led by HPI Academy Design Thinking Coach Marc Stussak, the First-Aid Training Truck was put on the road – literally. More information about the origin of the project can be found here.
Virtual means, real effect – a digital avatar sets the pace.
Under the guidance of a digital avatar, participants in the truck immerse themselves in an everyday situation and playfully practice resuscitation after cardiac arrest using cardiac massage and a defibrillator. Inside the truck, those present learn in just 10 minutes how to take action themselves in an emergency through the use of video, light, and sound, and are thus encouraged to help and save lives themselves in an emergency. The aim of the joint initiative #10000LebenRetten by Teva with the ratiopharm brand and Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe is to increase the first-aid rate in Germany in the long term.
