Tolga Buz studied Industrial Engineering at TU Berlin (B.Sc. and M.Sc.) and completed an additional double degree program at EIT Digital Master School in Data Science and Entrepreneurship (M.Sc.), with stays abroad in Istanbul and Madrid. His research interests included B2C technology adoption, project management, data science, and machine learning.
During his studies, he focused intensively on startups and gained work experience in various Berlin-based startups, first in Sales and Operations, and then as a Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer. After graduation, he worked as a data and AI specialist in strategy consulting on various international projects.
Since October 2020, Tolga has been working at the HPI E-School as a research assistant and is doing his PhD in the field of automated text processing with web datasets using data mining and machine learning algorithms.
