The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems develops machine methods to better understand and structure relevant data. This is done using textual and other heterogeneous data sources, on the basis of which intelligent systems are supposed to recognize new connections, learn language and knowledge competencies, and ultimately enable humans to make more informed decisions.
