Many organizations increasingly rely on agile approaches. In this format, we show the means by which agile implementation can be achieved effectively and efficiently. The implementation phase presented in the workshop follows the Design Thinking process as an example. Participants without prior knowledge of Design Thinking can also successfully attend the course.

The course builds effectively on the workshop ”From Design Thinking projects to agile prototypes“ by examining how ideas developed in the Design Thinking process can be realised in practice, but can also either be undertaken individually, or serve as a basis for the course mentioned above.

Agenda

Day 1: From Project To Product

Day 1 is all about the dysfunctionality of big projects and the methods (Product Mindset, Road Maps etc.) by which related problems can be addressed.

  • Theory Input: The anatomy of typical big projects
  • Characteristics, rules, understanding of effectiveness and efficiency
  • Group reflection & discussion / trigger questions: why do we usually do it this way? What works, what doesn’t often work? What works, what doesn’t often work?
  • Discussion of own project examples
  • Presentation of a case study in teamwork

Day 2: Factors For Successful Implementatio

Day 2 concentrates on the question of how the individual can put these methods into practice

  • Further elaboration on the case study
