From Project to Product

Agile product management

Everyone is talking about “agile” – but what is really behind it? Large projects with still long terms that now arrange to stand up every day? There’s more! In this format, we will show you how you can measure, prioritize, plan, focus, decide and reflect in an agile way. In this way, you pave the way for an effective and efficient implementation organization. The “implementation” under consideration here can be an example of a design thinking process, but does not have to be. Participants who otherwise have little contact with Design Thinking are also very welcome.

Goals

  • Project vs. Product – what are we developing here?
  • Value maximization through prioritization and increment planning
  • Effective implementation management through strategic road maps
  • Differentiation of the artifacts project plan vs. backlog vs. roadmap
  • Clear definition of the roles of project manager and project owner
  • Prioritize (“Implementation Strategy”): Define increments with the highest possible ROI for implementation
